But the magnificent Questor Soulsworn miniatures aren’t my favourite in the Nightmare Quest box. Oh no. For me, the Royal Beastflayers take it. These guys are horrible in all the right ways. Just look at them! Askurgan Trueblades – Eight undead warrior-monks who pride themselves on their ability to restrain their monstrous instincts. These multipart plastic miniatures include 1x Askurgan Exemplar, 2x Askurgan Ascetics, 1x Curseblood, 1x Askurgan Pariah, and 3x Askurgan Acolytes, armed with a variety of weapons So unless there’s a misprint. Some branches are interchangeable. Great for those of you who have some of these sprues from previous sets. Warcry: Bloodhunt Review – Models

Apart from the Abhorrent Ghoul King, I hadn’t painted any Death units since the Sepulchral Guard so it was great use these an excuse to paint some more and I’m really happy how they came out. You can read my thoughts on how the warband plays in this link here. The reason why I believe it’s best to own a copy of Heart of Ghur, the first set released in this season of warcry) is because there are 12 terrain cards in Bloodhunt and 6 of those include terrain layouts using the the Heart of Ghur Gnarlwood terrain set in combination with the Bloodhunt terrain set. I’m gutted their isn’t a set of cards for all three sets like in the picture above, oh well at least the core rules include terrain set up rules that don’t use the cards so you can use all of it if you want still. How to paint Warcry Bloodhunt Painting guide on how to paint the terrain from Heart of Ghur and Sundered Fate.

Experienced Kroot Mercenaries who hunt the deadliest prey for a living (and delicious new genes), the Farstalker Kinband is full of specialists like Kill-brokers, Long-sights, Cold-bloods, and Kroot Hounds. They make a formidable Kill Team , and can also join T’au Empire armies in Warhammer 40,000 where they can be armed as Kroot Warriors with Kroot rifles. Kill Team: Imperial Navy Breachers Once again, you'll get enough bits and pieces for playing out the games from the new Bloodhunt book but you could also mix these pieces in with existing sets. Use them to create some fun and interesting battlefields for Warcry but also Warhammer Age Of Sigmar as a whole. We're seeing some walls get added into the mix here as people try and put together wonky settlements in the heart of the Gnarlwood. New Warhammer Underworlds Warband!

In addition to the lore and the full rules for the warbands and scenery (Along with all of the twists, maps and victory conditions – these are reprinted in the book as well as being included as cards) we also get new rules for fortifications. This allows you to play scenarios where one side has a fortified outpost they have to try and defend, while the other side can try and assault it (they can even bring ladders to make it easier to besiege the fortification). This is a really fun optional ruleset, and is used to great effect in the included campaigns too! However, there is a big error in the build guide for these chaps. An entire step is missed off between assembling the first figure – the Huntsmaster – and attaching him to his base. Component 64 – part of a foot standing on a skeleton must be attached to the right foot of the Huntsmaster before he is glued onto his base. You’ll likely notice something’s up when you try and attach the figure and realise his legs look a little wonky – this is why. Uniquely, they have the ability to should down abilities which levels the playing field and lets them focus on what they’re good at, killing. Gnarlwood Scenery – 10 pieces of plastic terrain, fully compatible with existing Gnarlwood scenery kits, including 2x Fortified Gnarloaks with ladders, 2x Fortified Platforms, 2x Rope Bridges, and 5x Obstacles such as shattered ruins, palisades, bones, and broken postsNow, Rob and I are having a bit of a disagreement. he feels we should include the Battletime in the value breakdown and I don’t. His view is that it’s a separate purchasable item so it should be included. My view is, we never have included the books before. So it skews the value of these sets when compared historically to other boxes, and I think most people are buying them just for the models.
